Information on handling personal data (1) in accordance with article 13 of the legislation governing the protection of personal data (Legislative decree 196/03). Dear guest of www.country house la torcia.it, in accordance with article 13 of legislative decree 196/03, legislation governing the protection of personal data and its subsequent modification and integration (hereinafter referred to as the Privacy Law), we provide bellow information concerning the way in which La Torcia Country House handles data supplied by you when requesting information.
In order to receive information, your email address is essential, so failure to supply it or to supply it correctly makes it impossible for you to receive the information you require. We also wish to inform you that La Torcia County House does not intend to request information – from the data you give us – that could fall within the category of what the Privacy Law considers sensitive data (2). Your general personal information will not be released on–line on the internet, nor will it be communicated to third parties, except to the Legal authorities or other administrative public bodies who may legally request it in certain cases provided for by the law.

Method of handling
For the purposes of data handling, La Torcia Country House gathers your personal data in computer files and carries out subsequent data handling in an automated way using electronic and/or telematic support systems; in any event La Torcia Country House processes general and sensitive personal data using logic correlated to the purposes described above, and in any case, in such a manner as to guarantee its protection and privacy.

With regard to the processing of data that concerns you, you may, at any time, exercise the rights referred to in article 7 of the Privacy Law writing to La Torcia Country House, “Article 7 Rights of Access to personal data and other rights.
1. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning him or her, even if not yet recorded, and to such information being communicated to them in intelligible form.
2. The interested party has the right to obtain information on:
a) The origins of such personal data.
b) The purposes of such data and the manner in which it will be processed.
c) The logic applied in the event of processing being carried out with electronic systems;
d) The personal details of the owner of personal data, of those responsible for them, and of the designated representative in Italy, should this be provided for.
e) The persons or categories of persons who in their capacity of designated representative, manager or employee, in Italy, may gain knowledge of personal data or to whom personal data may be communicated.
3. The interested party has the right to obtain:
a) The updating, correction, or, should it concern him or her, the integration of data;
b) The cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, or the obstruction of data processed in breach of the law including data that does not need to be stored for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed.
c) A statement to the effect that the operations, including their contents, referred to above in a) and b) have been brought to the attention of those to whom data has been communicated or released, excluding occasions when the discharge of this obligation is impossible or requires means that are manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.
4. The interested party has the right to oppose fully or in part:
a) For legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data that concerns him, even though it may be relevant to the purposes of their collection:
b) The processing of personal data concerning him or her for the purposes of sending publicity material or direct sales, or for carrying out market research or providing business information.
The rights indicated above may be exercised directly or by conferring, in writing, a power of attorney or proxy to physical persons or associations.
